Mark Ervin Montrose

Mark Ervin Montrose (Cantrell) age 60 passed away January 31 2024 peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, and a dear friend. He leaves behind his wife of 35 years Tammy Montrose (Sanders), their son Mark Montrose Jr both of Canton Georgia. His grandson Mark Montrose ||| of Barrow Georgia, His Mother Mary Montrose (Wilkie) of Barnesville Georgia, His adoptive Father Grant Montrose of Chattanooga Tennessee, Brothers Greg Cantrell of Canton, Lee Montrose of Cumming and his Sister Molly Montrose of Lawrenceville. He was proceeded in death by his father Roy Wiley Cantrell of Canton Georgia. 

Mark and Tammy married in June of 1988 and built a life together in Canton Georgia. The love these two shared has been an inspiration to many they shared many good times and stuck together throughout the bad ones never leaving each others side. Mark loved the outdoors and spent alot of time watching the deer and other wildlife at his home. He had an incredible work ethic and worked in construction most of his life until a back injury prevented him to do so. Mark always lent a helping hand and treated anyone who came to his house as family.  He loved his rescue pup Brandy and in his last days enjoyed her company very much.

He was very loved and will be deeply missed by many. The family will recieve friends and family for a celebration of life at their home Saturday February 10th from 2-5pm.
